customers

nobody yet. here is what we are building on it ourselves.

briven has no external customers, so there is no logo wall on this page and there are no quotes. what there is: three of flndrn's own projects lined up to run on it, and an honest note under each about which parts briven can carry and which parts it cannot. when a real customer ships, they appear here with numbers we measured — not before.

website uptime monitoring and alerts

planned

saas · monitoring

a monitor writes a row every time it checks a site, which is the plainest possible postgres workload — lots of small inserts and time-ranged reads. it would talk to briven over the http sql endpoint with a read-only key for the dashboard and a write key for the checkers.

a modern take on icq-style chat

planned

saas · messaging

message history and attachments are a natural fit, and live delivery is one too now that briven pushes changes as they happen — 11 milliseconds from commit to delivery, measured. the part briven would not carry is the offline half: a client that has been shut for a day still needs something to catch it up when it opens.

the strict-compliance case: every mutation needs to leave a trace, and access needs to be narrower than one shared login. organisations, custom roles and the audit log are the parts of briven this project would lean on hardest.

thinking about being the first?

being first on a young platform is a real risk and it should buy you something. tell us what you are building and we will tell you plainly whether briven can carry it today — including when the answer is no. the fastest way to find out for yourself is to create a database; it takes seconds and the free plan needs no card.
